His Silence Is Deafening: Michael Jackson Hasn’t Done ANY Interviews About New Allegations
It’s been months now. What is he hiding?
The King Of Pop has undergone a cultural re-examination of his legacy ever since the HBO documentary “Leaving Neverland” was released, a 4 hour bombshell film that resurrects disturbing accusations of Jackson molesting children. I watched “Leaving Neverland” for 2 hours in confused horror before I finally realized it wasn’t a Peter Pan sequel.
The film paints a horrific portrait of Jackson as a manipulative monster who assaulted multiple boys and faced no punishment. If these allegations are true, he may very well be one of the most prolific sexual predators alive.
The documentary has prompted debates about Jackson’s guilt, and whether we can separate the art from the artist. But someone has been noticeably absent from this Michael Jackson conversation: … fuckin Michael Jackson.
It has now been 3 months since the documentary aired and Jackson still hasn’t done any interviews. He hasn’t even released a statement. He refuses to face the public.
Coward.
His silence says it all. On top of that, none of his famous friends like Prince or David Bowie have stepped forward to defend his name. Very telling. I reached out to Jackson to see if he could comment on this article and (just as I predicted) I heard nothing back. Suspicious. And as a former fan, I hereby refuse to go to a Michael Jackson concert.
Yeah, I said it.
I brought this up to my friend and he said “Michael Jackson is dead.” I said “Yes, I agree, figuratively speaking he is dead to me, too.”
